Terms of Service

Welcome to Galactic Radio Weather ("Service"), operated by Galactic Radio Network ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

Galactic Radio Weather is an AI-powered weather broadcast generation platform. The Service allows users to generate audio weather reports using real-time weather data and AI-generated voice personalities. The Service is available via a web interface, API, and command-line interface (CLI).

2. Account Registration

To use the Service you must sign in with a valid Google account. By signing in you agree to:

• Provide accurate and current information associated with your Google account.
• Maintain the security of your account credentials and API keys.
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Credits and Subscriptions

The Service uses a credit-based system for weather report generation:

• Free tier: 3 credits per month at no cost.
• Starter tier: 50 credits per month for $10/month.
• Pro tier: 200 credits per month for $25/month.
• Business tier: 500 credits per month for $50/month.

Each credit is consumed when a weather report generation is initiated. Credits refresh at the beginning of each billing cycle and do not roll over. Failed generations are automatically refunded.

Subscription changes take effect immediately. Downgrades reset your credit balance to the new tier's allocation. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' advance notice.

4. API Keys and Access

API keys are issued for programmatic access to the Service. You are responsible for keeping your API keys confidential. Do not share, publish, or embed API keys in client-side code or public repositories. We reserve the right to revoke API keys that are compromised or used in violation of these Terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to generate misleading or fraudulent weather information intended to cause harm.
• Attempt to circumvent credit limits, rate limits, or authentication mechanisms.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.
• Use the Service to generate content that is illegal, defamatory, or infringes on third-party rights.
• Resell or redistribute generated content without proper attribution.
• Overwhelm the Service with automated requests beyond reasonable use (rate limiting applies).

6. Generated Content

Weather reports generated through the Service are created using AI models and real-time weather data. You acknowledge that:

• Generated audio is for informational and entertainment purposes. It should not be relied upon as the sole source for weather-critical decisions.
• AI-generated voices and DJ personalities are fictional characters and do not represent real individuals.
• You retain a non-exclusive license to use generated content for personal or commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.
• We retain the right to use anonymized, aggregated usage data to improve the Service.

7. Organizations

Users may create organizations to share credit pools with team members. Organization owners are responsible for managing membership, credit usage, and subscription payments for the organization. Members added to an organization consume credits from the organization's shared pool.

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, AI models, and DJ personalities, is the intellectual property of Galactic Radio Network. The star field background, Galactic Radio branding, and all associated visual assets are proprietary. Nothing in these Terms grants you rights to our trademarks or brand assets.

10. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss resulting from Service downtime.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Galactic Radio Network shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, and any stored files may be deleted after 30 days.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice within the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Kentucky, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
